About this fragrance

It begins with a jolt of grapefruit and peppermint, cold and bright, the kind of opening that makes you look up.

From there Bludee settles into the territory Bleu de Chanel made famous: a smoky, spiced middle of ginger, nutmeg and incense over dry cedar and amberwood. We give it a month to macerate so those woods feel smooth rather than raw.

It works almost anywhere, day or night, through every season. More refined than aggressive, so it sits closer to the skin than some people expect.

It's my honest impression of Bleu de Chanel — I'd put it at about a 93% match on the scent profile. It's my own composition built to evoke that character, not the original itself, and I'll always tell you where it differs.

Yes — a true Extrait at around 35% oil, blended with imported perfumer's ethanol and rested at least a month before bottling. That's a far higher concentration than a typical designer eau de parfum.
