About this fragrance

The idea behind Blackrain was contradiction: take a bright, fresh opening and drop it straight into something dark. It's one of Mazhar's own creations, and one of the more unusual things we make.

It opens almost sporty, pineapple and bergamot with a crack of Sichuan pepper and ambroxan, then it turns: aged leather, pipe tobacco and a dark coffee that pulls the whole thing into shadow. At 35% oil both halves stay present for hours, instead of one swallowing the other.

Wear it year-round when you want something that refuses to sit in one lane. It rewards people who like a fragrance with a bit of drama to it.

The Perfumer's Note

My own composition, and a strange one in the best way: a bright, fresh opening that drops into leather, tobacco and dark coffee. Honestly: that fresh-to-dark turn divides people, which is exactly why I love it.

How long does Blackrain last?
Blackrain is a 35% oil Extrait de Parfum, so it's built to last — expect around 8–12 hrs on skin, with strong projection through the opening hours. In Pakistan's heat the higher oil load helps it hold rather than fade by noon.
Is Blackrain a designer-inspired scent?
No — Blackrain is one of my own creations, built from a blank page rather than modelled on a designer scent. So there's no match percentage here; it's simply an MHB Essence creation.
Is this really an Extrait de Parfum?
Yes — a true Extrait at around 35% oil, blended with imported perfumer's ethanol and rested at least a month before bottling. That's a far higher concentration than a typical designer eau de parfum.
Can I pay cash on delivery?
Yes — cash on delivery is available across Pakistan, with no advance payment required. You pay when your order reaches your door. Delivery is a flat Rs 300, free on orders over Rs 15,000.
Can I try it before buying a full bottle?
Yes — a 10ml tester is available, so you can sample it before committing to a full bottle. Just add the tester to your cart.
