About this fragrance

Let's set expectations first: Blackano is not a crowd-pleaser, and it was never meant to be. It's our take on Nasomatto's Black Afgano.

It's thick and resinous from the start, green and incense-like over tobacco, coffee and a deep oud-amber base. There's no light moment in it; it commits to the dark the whole way through, and a little goes a very long way.

This is a cold-weather, night-time scent for people who already know they like the heavy, smoky end of things. If that's you, you'll understand it on the first wear.

Blackano is a 40% oil Extrait de Parfum, so it's built to last — expect around 10–14 hrs on skin, with strong projection through the opening hours. In Pakistan's heat the higher oil load helps it hold rather than fade by noon.
Which fragrance is Blackano inspired by?
It's my honest impression of Nasomatto Black Afgano — I'd put it at about a 95% match on the scent profile. It's my own composition built to evoke that character, not the original itself, and I'll always tell you where it differs.
Is this really an Extrait de Parfum?
Yes — a true Extrait at around 40% oil, blended with imported perfumer's ethanol and macerated for at least 2 months — and we aim for 3 — before bottling. That's a far higher concentration than a typical designer eau de parfum.
Can I pay cash on delivery?
