Of all the fragrances people ask me to recreate, Louis Vuitton's Imagination comes up again and again. It's easy to see why — that bright, clean, citrus-and-tea character is genuinely lovely, and genuinely expensive. A lot of people here want that exact feeling without the import price and the hunt to find it. This is my honest answer to them: a scent I call Imagino Bright.
What people love about Imagination
The original is built around a sparkling burst of citrus over a soft, airy tea note, with a little warmth from ginger underneath. It smells fresh, polished and a touch luxurious — the kind of scent that reads as "clean and well-dressed" rather than loud. That zesty top and smooth tea heart is what makes it so addictive, and it's exactly what I set out to capture.
My take: Imagino Bright
Imagino Bright is my honest 97% impression of that idea. It opens with bright bergamot, citron and orange; settles into a heart of black tea, ginger and neroli; and dries down on ambroxan, musk, a touch of incense and soft woods. On skin it follows the same journey — sparkling citrus, then that airy tea accord, into a clean, almost soapy freshness. One customer who knows the original well described exactly that arc and called it close enough to be a blind buy. That's the goal: get genuinely near, then tell you honestly how near.
Where it's faithful — and where it isn't
I say 97%, not 100%, on purpose. The opening and that signature tea heart sit very close to the original. Where I'll be honest: this is a fresh fragrance by nature, so it stays closer to the skin than a heavy oud or a sweet gourmand would. It's elegant and very wearable rather than a room-filling powerhouse — and if you loved Imagination, that's precisely the point. You can read how I judge these numbers in my piece on what an honest match really means.
Why it works so well in Pakistan
A bright citrus-aromatic like this is made for our climate. Fresh scents feel clean and comfortable in heat, where something heavier can turn cloying. The catch with most fresh perfumes is that they vanish by midday — and this is where mine is different. Imagino Bright is a true Extrait de Parfum at 35% oil, blended with an imported perfumer's ethanol and left to macerate for at least a month, so it has the staying power of a concentrate while still smelling light and airy. You get the freshness without the early disappearing act. I explain why that concentration matters in my guide to Extrait de Parfum.
This is an impression — not a copy
I want to be clear about what this is and isn't. Imagino Bright is built from my own formula and my own materials; it borrows the idea of a scent you love, never anyone's name or label. The bottle says MHB Essence, because that's exactly what's inside it. An honest impression, made openly — not a counterfeit pretending to be something it isn't.
Try it for yourself
If Imagination is on your wishlist, Imagino Bright is the closest I can honestly offer — bright, clean and built to last in our heat. You can also explore my full designer-inspired range or browse other fresh scents, and any questions about longevity or delivery are answered on my FAQ. As always, you'll know exactly what's in the bottle, because I made it myself. — Mazhar
